I should clarify our policy on STRONG and WEAK defense.
We start out the week with everyone on a WEAK defense. After the noon battle on Wednesday you have 24 hours to switch to a STRONG defense.
We put up our best defense Thursday-Saturday in order to climb in the ranks and finish with a good score.
We put up a weak, farming defense at the start out the week, Monday-Wednesday, in order to let members accumulate points for rewards. It is also a rational necessity. Because if we defend too well in the beginning of the week we will face opponents that are too strong for us in the second half of the week -- and that is not fun.
Sometimes I have been asked when is the precise time to switch - before which battle? If you want a deadline, the earliest you can switch, according to our policy, is after the noon battle on Wednesday and the deadline to switch is before the noon battle on Thursday. But if you miss the noon deadline and switch to STRONG before midnight on Thursday you are not going to get in trouble for it. Maybe just a reminder.
