Thanks for posting this, Christinale.
Yes, it is exciting. Including all the special events, there is always something to do in SW.
I have 60 runed monsters to fight the World Boss with now. That was a lot of work to put together. And it came at a time when I was thinking about reducing my roster of monsters. So I'm glad I waited. Now, I am using all those monster I had in storage. I get A-, B, C in the battles against the world boss. (Welcome back Garoche, LOL).
The more important thing, as far as strategy goes, is the 3-headed Raid Boss. Here are the few tips I have so far.
Leader skills: Def, HP and Resist seem to be the best leader skills. I am usually putting up a Defense leader skill. But if someone else already has that I will swap in Tesarion for his Resist leader skill.
Front Line / Back Line: I have been putting 4 monsters in front, two in back. In the front line are Chasun, Colleen (the fire harpu), Belladeon and Mei Hou Wang (the fire monkey king). I have been putting two in back, Konamiya and Sigmarus. That is four healers and one cleanser. So, you can see, I only have two damage dealers. That is how important healing and cleansing are.
Buff / Debuff: Immunity, Cleanse and Heal are important! I am trying to get more immunity into my lineup. As for debuffs, here are the ones that seem most important: Glancing Hit and Slow, because they reduce the amount of negative effects the dragon can put on your team. Branding is also very good, because it increases damage the dragon takes by 25%. The other common ones are important, too, like Def Break, Atk Reduction, etc.
Damage Monsters: Sigmarus and Theomars seem pretty good.
Monsters you should not take, if you can help it: The main one I hear about being disappointing in raids is Veromos. This is because the dragon has Oblivion, which takes away Vero's ability to cleanse debuffs. And without that ability, Vero doesn't bring much, because dots don't stick on the dragon. So all Vero has left is his base power, which is small. So, if you are using him for his HP leader skill, try to find someone else ASAP.
Also, Christinale, I noticed you are taking the lead in trying to form raid parties in Guild Chat. I know it's hard to get people to join in right now. But if you keep at it, eventually people get in the habit of checking Guild Chat first when they feel like doing a raid. So thank you for that.
